How to stop Dilaudid addiction
One of the most popular visits I get to my blog is about dilaudid addiction. They ask questions like how to stop using dilaudid. I can only guess as to how they became addicted to dilaudid. Some of them may have been taking them for pain or others may have stopped using heroin and used them for a substitute.
Regardless of how one acquires a dilaudid addiction there is help available. If you want to stop using dilaudid then one of the best options is to stop shooting dilaudid. I will add here that the withdrawal may be as intense as heroin withdrawal.
Cold turkey means to quit using the drug you happen to be using without any medication this can be done in the comfort of your own home. I would invite someone to come stay with me for support as you will defiantly need encouragement. Another thing I would do is remove all my using items from the home they will only remind you of what you are going to miss and you are supposed to be done with using anyway so there is no need for them.
Make some plans for after your detox from dilaudid for instance, you may want to attend NA meetings so find out where and what time they are and make a list of the ones you plan to attend. This should be a good start for anyone you can continue you to add to this as you recover.
