Gucci Mane Songs

February 20th, 2010

Gucci Mane songs are always enjoyable to listen to while driving around in your car. Similarly, they can make for a very good time if you play them while at a party. There are so many good tracks by this artist from the south, that most people that have not heard of him prior to 2010 are now starting to catch on to the fact that he is capable of releasing some awesome material. He gets production from Shawty Redd and Bangladesh, which makes the beats for his songs very good. If you have heard the song called “Stupid Wild” featuring Lil Wayne and Camron, then you know how a good beat and lineup of artists can make for a great song.

Most of the new Gucci Mane music that has come out as of recent is much better than what he released in previous years. Fans of his music are starting to see him mature as an artist, and more importantly, as a human being. Over the Thanksgiving season, both himself and his label mates donated turkeys to people without them. They also gave out prizes and gifts to underprivileged children in the Zone 6 East Atlanta neighborhoods. Since most artists are starting to realize that he is a good artist, they are mixing up and blending his verses into completely new songs.

For example, the very famous DJ named Diplo was able to remix an entire collection of Gucci songs in 2010 and then put them out to fans for a free download on the internet. Most people that downloaded this project were in for a treat. Other artists, like Big Sean, Kid Cudi, and Jackie Chain, sampled Gucci Mane on the song called “Rollin” for the chorus. Be on the lookout for more hot new songs from Gucci coming in 2010 and 2011; including a follow up album to his 2009 release.

Lil Boosie Music Keeps Rap Alive

January 18th, 2010

As a person that enjoys southern rap music, there is nobody better to listen to than Lil Boosie. He always brings some incredible lyrics to his music and is able to come up with real rhymes about the street life. Considering the fact that he grew up with no father and had to face the tough streets alone, he had to deal with a lot of stress. In fact, the amount of stress and fear that he has had to face could have swallowed anybody up that was not prepared to face it. Fortunately, he was able to use music to express himself and his pent up emotions.

The mogul known as “Lil Boosie Bad” did not start rapping until he was in high school, but always enjoyed music. He knew that other people were involved in rapping, but he never dreamed that he would one day have the success that he now does. It all started out in his hometown of Baton Rouge, where he had to prove to the people that he only raps about what he has lived. When the people first heard him rhyming, they thought he talked nothing but the truth. He did have to deal with many haters (and still does), but the people that know him, know that he is real.

As an artist, having integrity as a person is an attribute that most of the best artists have. The reason that he has been able to perform thousands of shows and become a platinum selling artist is due to the fact that he is authentic. If he would have made up lies about what he had to go through, not only would he have cheated himself, but his fans wouldn’t know what to think of his false front. Lil Boosie’s struggle is an inspiration to thousands of youth, especially in the south, and will continue to be regarded as a legend for decades to come.
