Angular Cheilitis Looks Awful
There is no doubt that Angular Cheilitis, an affliction that shows up plainly on the angles of the mouth and lips as deep, red, sometimes bleeding and crusted-over cracks, is pretty horrible to look at.
Most people, upon seeing the symptoms, will cut their eyes down or away from the sufferer’s face as quickly as possible. Let’s face it, the hideous mouth corner cracks associated with Angular cheilitis, make other people very uncomfortable, and they want to get away from the afflicted as quickly as possible.
The Candida fungus health condition is often thought to be related to Aids, people think the cracks could be Aids sores. Or at the very least the infection is thought to be the result of failing to keep clean.
Actually, Angular Cheilitis, while being ugly to look at, is not considered contagious, but the loathsome symptoms do easily turn people off.
